Raising money for charity is one of the main objectives of the LPGA and its tournaments. Since the LPGA started tracking charitable contributions in 1981, the cumulative charitable donations from the LPGA and its tournaments has totaled nearly $200 million.

The Susan G. Komen For The Cure has been the official national charity of the LPGA since 1992. Members of the LPGA family have embraced the Komen For The Cure- helping to both educate consumers and raise funds for research and outreach programs.
